Blue Bird Corporation and Micro Bird, Inc. are pleased to announce the Blue Bird Propane-Powered Micro Bird® by Girardin. The Propane-Powered Micro Bird is Blue Bird’s newest offering to its extensive alternative-fuel line-up. As the industry leader in alternative-fuel offerings, the Propane-Powered Micro Bird is an extension of Blue Bird’s commitment to affordable green solutions. The Propane-Powered Micro Bird will be offered for sale this July with production beginning late 2010.
The introduction of the Propane-Powered Micro Bird expands Blue Bird’s complete line of Type A School, Multi-Function School Activity Bus (MSFAB) and Commercial buses. With seating up to 30 passengers, Micro Birds are manufactured for the school, childcare, Head Start, churches, tour, and shuttle markets and sold exclusively by Blue Bird Dealers throughout North America.
